The Committee on Judicial Policy considered the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re ensuring safe exploitation of agricultural equipment) as non-contradicting to the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine

The bill (Reg. No. 2609a) aims at improving legal maintenance of labour safety in agriculture and increasing requirements for safe exploitation of agricultural equipment. Increasing administrative responsibility for failure to meet lawful requirements of agricultural inspectors shall promote the increased responsibility of owners and operators of agricultural mechanisms for technical state of motor vehicles under exploitation.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine expressed several remarks to the bill in its opinion. However, the people’s deputies believe that experts’ remarks do not pertain to the contradictions of the bill to the provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine.
